National Night Out

National Night Out

National Night Out (NNO) is an annual event hosted by the Parker Police Department and other police agencies across the country to enhance the partnership between citizens, businesses and law enforcement communities.  This important neighborhood network helps to make Parker an even safer place to live, work and raise our families.

Join the Parker Police Department and our partners, Vehicle Vault, for the 2022 National Night Out Car Show & Shine. Register to bring your classic, exotic, muscle or other specialty car out to celebrate with the 400-500 guests expected for this fun annual event. Special police demonstrations and vehicles, food trucks and much more will be available for guests of all ages at this fun annual event, taking place at O’Brien Park on August 6th from 5-8pm.

Space is limited, and all cars must be registered by Friday, July 29th to participate. Day of event registration will not be permitted! All participants should be in place no later than 4:45pm and should plan to stay for the duration of the event.

About the Program

In 1984, the introduction of National Night Out, "America's Night Out Against Crime", began as an effort to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime efforts
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organizing and fighting back

National Night Out now involves more than 37.8 million people and 16,124 communities from all fifty states, U.S. Territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide.

Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more.
